In your closet, there's an article of clothing that triggers a memory. Now's your chance to write about it and possibly see it performed on stage!
The producers of the Off-Broadway show Love, Loss, and What I Wore are accepting submissions of stories about moms, daughters, grandmothers and anyone else who celebrates Mother's Day.
Interested? If so, write the piece in the style of the show, as a monologue or a vignette, no more than 500 words, and send it to LoveLossContest@gmail.com or fax it to 212-375-1120.
The two winning entries will have their stories read on stage at New York's Westside Theatre, 407 West 43rd Street, on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 8th. Winners will also receive two tickets to that performance, which will star Conchata Ferrell, Anne Meara, AnnaLynne McCord and B. Smith.
Deadline for entries is Monday, April 25th, so get those creative juices flowing.
