by Lesley Kennedy • Reporter

Trying to improve your heart health? Get married.

LiveScience reports that a new study out of Princeton University has found that women who have been married but haven’t experienced divorce or the death of a spouse are at a lower risk for cardiovascular issues, including high blood pressure.

Kinda gives new meaning to that whole promising to protect each other’s heart thing, doesn’t it?
