How’s your sex life? Not telling? Well, how’d you vote in the last election? Your politics may just give it away.

In its second annual Singles in America survey of more than 5,000 single folks, Match.com finds that a person’s political affiliation plays an important role in the bedroom.

When it comes to choosing a partner, liberal Democrats opt for someone they consider an equal, with a sense of humor and a similar lifestyle, while conservative Republicans consider the same political affiliation and background important factors, according to a release from the online dating site.

As for sex, 53 percent of Red Staters say they’re more likely to orgasm during sex, and the Blue Staters clock in at 40 percent. However, the Republicans had less sex overall in the past year.

As far as sex scandals go, those running for office in either party might want to note that nine out of 10 Democrats and Republicans surveyed said there are “no acceptable excuses” for a candidate to cheat. Hey, at least Americans can be bipartisan on something.
