Downsizing has been amazing. It is certainly not without costs or hurt feelings or tough choices. There are people who will never ever understand my personal need to slow down, to cut back, to do less, to be still a little more often, but it’s worth it. I am looking forward to this, my 42nd year, to grow and to learn even more about myself, to take down even more props, and to find out more truths within. So, bring on that unnerving, unsettling feeling in the pit of my gut. I welcome it this time. I look forward to finding out what is going to give me that same euphoric rush that I felt that very first time I just said no.
