Next time your guy gives you grief for the hours you spend shopping at the mall, you may want to check his online spending habits.

CNBC reports that when it comes to buying online, men are doling out more money than women, with luxury menswear clothing and accessories seeing the highest growth rate, according to a new survey from iProspect, a digital-performance business. And get this: One fourth of wealthy men (those making more than $100,000 a year) are buying new stuff for their closets on a weekly basis, the network adds.

Chris Ventry of flash sales site Gilt Groupe’s GiltMan says men are outbuying women online by 20 to 30 percent, according to CNBC, while a rep from Kiehl’s adds that men’s sales are twice the amount online as they are in brick-and-mortar stores.

Affluent male shoppers hit up Amazon.com most often, the survey shows, and popular brands include Rolex, Louis Vuitton and BMW.

Hey, we get it, guys. There’s nothing sexist about shopping. Just don’t be afraid to pick us up a lip balm or two while you’re online.
