Q. When is the event?
A. MORE Social Dallas will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2014.

Q. What time does the event start?
A. The night offers TWO social event opportunities:
• 6:30-9:00pm COCKTAIL PARTY

Q. Where will the event be held?
A. W Dallas Victory, 2440 Victory Park Lane, Dallas, TX; the FEATURED SESSION will be held in the Industry 2 meeting room and the COCKTAIL PARTY will be in the Altitude Penthouse Bar.

Q.  How can I purchase a ticket for the event?
A. Go to and click the “Purchase Tickets” link.

Q. When will ticket purchase be available?
A. Online purchase will begin on Friday, January 17, 2014. The final time and day for ticket purchase will be 4:30 pm CST on Wednesday, May 7, 2014

Q. How much does it cost to attend?
A. The COMBO EVENT (Featured Session and Cocktail Party) ticket rate is $99. The SINGLE EVENT (Cocktail Party only) ticket rate is $80.

Q. Are there special Group Rates?
A. No. There are no special group rates available for these events, however you can purchase tickets for yourself and other guests at the same time.

Q. Will I receive confirmation of my ticket purchase?
A. Yes, upon completing your successful purchase, you will be sent an automatic email confirmation from Eventbrite to the email address you provided during ticket purchase. You will also have the option of accessing mobile tickets or printing out paper tickets. Your email confirmation or admission ticket will be required for entry to the event.

Q. Will guest(s) that I purchased a ticket for receive an email confirmation?
A. Each will receive an individual email confirmation and the option to print their admission ticket PROVIDED that you specified their names and email addresses when prompted during the ticket purchase process. If you DID NOT provide a name or email address other than your own during the ticket purchase process, please be sure to forward a copy of your email confirmation and admission ticket to your guest(s) and advise that they will be required to bring a copy to the event check-in desk for admission.

Q. What if I don’t receive my email confirmation?
A. Email confirmations are automatically sent out to the email address you provide during the ticket purchase process. Please be sure to check your SPAM account if you do not receive your confirmation in your regular in-box.

Q. Can I have my ticket refunded once I’ve paid?
A. No.  All ticket purchases are final.

Q. Will I be able to purchase a ticket on-site on May 7, 2014?
A. No, we will not be selling any tickets at the door.



Q. Can you provide more details about the FEATURE SESSION, “TIME TO PUT YOUR PLAN INTO ACTION”?
A. The TIME TO PUT YOUR PLAN INTO ACTION session will be hosted by Jennifer Braunschweiger, MORE Deputy Editor, and Amanda Steinberg, Founder and CEO of This lively presentation will give attendees a fresh perspective on their money through inspiring ideas and practical tips from two experts in the field. The event will close with a Q&A session.

Q. What activities can I expect at the COCKTAIL PARTY?
A. Attendees can pose for fun photos with friends, chat with VIP guests, get express touchups, try delicious wines from Women of the Vine, sit for a tarot card reading, enjoy refreshments, shop for select merchandise, receive a fabulous gift bag and more. We will update this information as activities are confirmed.

Q. Who are some of the VIP guests and experts?
A. All attendees will have the opportunity to interact with our VIP guests including MORE editors and experts in the fields of online dating, career, personal finance, fashion, beauty and more. A complete list will be available and added to the web site and FAQs as we get closer to the event. Check back regularly for updates.

Q. Can I attend/pay for the Featured Session only and skip the Cocktail Party?
A. No, we are not offering Featured Session attendance only.



Q. What time should I plan to arrive?
A. COMBO EVENT TICKET HOLDERS: Seating will begin at 5:15pm for a session start of 5:30pm; Session attendees will be escorted to the Cocktail Party at 6:20pm. SINGLE EVENT TICKET HOLDERS: The doors will open at 6:30pm for the Cocktail Party.

Q. What if I’m late? 
A. No problem.  We’ll be glad to welcome you upon arrival.

Q. What time will the event end?
The FEATURED SESSION will conclude at 6:20pm and guests will be escorted to the COCKTAIL PARTY, which will run from 6:30 – 9:00pm.

Q. How many people do you expect at the event?
A. We plan for 100 attendees at the FEATURED SESSION and 250 attendees at the COCKTAIL PARTY.

Q. What should I wear to the event?
A. There is no specific dress code. We recommend that you dress comfortably and appropriately for an evening cocktail reception. Business attire is also fine.

Q. What should I bring with me to the event?
A. Do be sure to bring your registration email confirmation and/or admission ticket for attendee check-in. We also suggest you bring business cards for networking and raffle entry, a credit card to purchase any merchandise you may like and your smart phone to share photos from the event.

Q. Are cameras allowed?
A. Yes, BUT audio and video recording will NOT be permitted during the event. Attendees will be required to check any video recording equipment upon arrival.

Q. Will there be a coat/bag check?
A. Yes. The hotel has an onsite coat/bag check for guests.

Q. Will the event be handicap accessible?
A. Yes, the event is wheelchair accessible.

Q. Is there an age restriction on attendees?
A. Yes. You must be 21 years or older to attend the event.

Q. Can I bring my baby/child or pet with me to the event?
A. Babies and children under 21 are not permitted at the event.  Pets are not permitted at the event (with the exception of service animals).

Q. Can men attend?
A. Yes.

Q. Will refreshments be served?
A. Drinks and light bites will be available.

A. Yes, the hotel offers valet parking and there is a public garage across the street.

A. The event venue is the W Dallas Victory Hotel and has available rooms if you plan to stay overnight.

Q. Are there any special hotel room rates or deals associated with the event?
A. Not at this time.
