Jenna Soard, founder and spokesperson of My Body. My Business., is conducting a 30-day election-season project that she says is intended to "point out the misogynistic attitudes of a lot of politicians, including some women, who believe women shouldn't have control over their bodies." In her video blog, above, she explains that her campaign was sparked by the controversy stirred up in April when TV commentator Rush Limbaugh called Sandra Fluke, a third-year law student at Georgetown University, a "slut" for arguing that birth control should be covered by her employer's health insurance plan.
Soard's strategy is to hit the road and "talk to random strangers to get reactions to my shirt," which reads "This Slut Votes." She has questioned those she meets on their knowledge of U.S. laws about women's health rights and finds it "shocking how much people don't know."
Follow Soard here as she documents people's reactions to her shirt and conducts short interviews. (One of the more surprising places she chose to visit: Disneyland.)

While I'm aware of the number
While I'm aware of the number of bills that limit a woman's reproductive health choices in my state, (Oklahoma), I'm appalled at the amount of general ignorance displayed by men and women in regards to what their legislatures are doing. I applaud Jenna for being another person standing up to educate people!
