Keys to growing old gracefully: Eating right. Getting enough exercise. Keeping your mind sharp. Trusting a great doctor.

Add one more: having an amazing sex life.

Quick! Someone order the Viagra, because when Granny is satisfied in the sack, her quality of life gets more lovin’, too, HealthDay News reports.

In a new study, researchers from the University of California, San Diego, School of Medicine surveyed more than 1,200 women ages 60 to 89, according to the health news service. Sixty-seven percent of those in the 60-to-69 age bracket said they were satisfied with their sex lives, while 60 percent of women ages 70 to 79 and 61 percent of women 80 to 89 reported the same thing.

“What this study tells us is that many older adults retain their ability to enjoy sex well into old age,” Wesley K. Thompson, study coauthor, says in a UCSD press release. “This is especially true of older adults who maintain a higher level of physical and mental health as they grow older. Furthermore, feeling satisfied with your sex life—whatever your levels of sexual activity—is closely related to your perceived quality of life.”

As Carrie Bradshaw replied when asked what happened to aging gracefully, it got old. But great sex, it turns out, never does.
