Just like the energy of a stream, it is difficult to quantify the power of the stream until you put something in its way. Something in the way of a stream can be a waterwheel or a dam. If you put in a dam, then you are stopping and starting the flow. If you put in a waterwheel, to handle the energy of the stream, then you’re accentuating the energy of the stream.
The same energetic principles apply to marketing. Marketing is somewhat difficult to quantify but it is a basic necessity of any business. If you think you can survive without marketing or the energy placed behind marketing, then you are stopping the energy of flow into your business.
Think about energy and marketing as what you have to share with the world. If you are constantly out there and present in some way, whether it is via referrals, networking, social media networking, or the print, blog or television media then you are creating the opportunity for flow. If you are not doing one or any of these, then the flow is either very slow or it is non-existent.
One other aspect of energy and marketing is the flow that you are in personally. This is the very thing that makes something go viral when there seems to be no rhyme or reason. This is the unseen and subtle energy that comes from faith, meditation, clarity, inner resolve, certainty etc. that makes things go that much more easily.
One of the ways that I love to market is through my daily meditation practice, and one of the ways that I’ve helped my clients grow their businesses is through the Learn to Meditate in 2 Minutes process on which I wrote a book. This is the most cost effective methodology of gaining the energy to and for marketing.
