The wicker clutch that houses these brushes doubles as the perfect warm-weather evening bag: It goes with everything, and it's big enough for a phone, lipstick, credit card and crumpled cash.
The wearable brights in the compact perk up most complexions, but it's the '60s-inspired pouch that's a real find: roomy enough to hold loose change or jewelry.

From now until September, we will use this simply chic bag—as well as the hair goods it contains: Fekkai Glossing Cream, Summer Hair Beach Waves and Sheer Hold Hairspray.
We’re over the expression “Not your daughter’s (fill in the blank).” However, it really does apply to this book, Makeup Your Mind: Express Yourself. François Nars, makeup artist extraordinaire, worked his magic on the faces of 62 real people—then wrote clear, detailed instructions on creating each look. The result is stunning and coffee table worthy, but it’s the tips—and transformations—that make the tome worth owning ($45; narscosmetics.com).
It is with some reluctance that I write about designer Maison Martin Margiela’s first fragrance, Untitled. This scent is so unusual, uplifting, sexy (I could go on) that despite my role as More’s beauty director, I was tempted to keep it to myself. But it’s on shelves now at Saks ($100; saks.com), so, alas, word’s out. The scoop? Its green notes are deepened with white musk, and to try it is to love it. But please resist telling everyone . . .
For classic sorts, new muddy neutrals pick up where last spring’s “greige” lacquers left off:
CND’s collaboration with designer Jason Wu, a wear-with-everything collection of three neutrals plus a deep red and a top coat (five lacquers for $47; cnd.com).
For style mavericks, at-home (easy!) nail art livens up an everyday mani:
Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips($9; drugstores) are “nail stickers” that last up to a week, are made of nail lacquer and come in cheeky patterns like Misbehaved (fishnet) and Frock Star (glitter), above.
