Have we met? My name is Susan, and I’m a bauble whore.

I’ve loved every kind of jewelry since I was an itty bitty thing, and my love of such has grown more profound with each passing year. I know, we’ve had this talk before, but women of the world, hear this: You’re not accessorizing enough!

If I am asked one fashion question again and again, it’s “How can I accessorize more?” Are you ready for the first step? YOU HAVE TO ACTUALLY BUY ACCESSORIES. You can’t use what’s not in your wardrobe. You must shop, and you must do it regularly. Beautiful faux jewelry is all around, at all price points, and—best of all—it never goes out of style. You may tire of something after a hundred wears, but then put it away, take a break, and pull it out later.

I have all sorts of bits and baubles that I’ve had for a hundred years, but they’re still in rotation. As for how to store all my jewelry? That's a whole other story.
