Mitt Romney’s running mate has had a little trouble keeping track of his running.

Politico reports the Republican U.S. representative from Wisconsin said during a radio interview that he had run a marathon in “2 hour[s] and 50-something”), but Runner’s World magazine unearthed the 1990 race results that show the vice presidential candidate actually finished in “4 hours, 1 minute and 25 seconds.”

Sarah Palin, John McCain’s running mate in 2008, finished a marathon in 3 hours and 59 minutes in 2005, edging out Ryan’s time, according to the political website. The congressman did run a bit faster than Oprah Winfrey, who had a marathon time of 4 hours and 29 minutes in 1994.
