Dan Connor would make an awesome first husband.

Of course, he’s just Rosanne Barr’s fictional hubby, but Dan or no Dan by her side, Barr wants on the presidential ballot. For realz.

The Associated Press reports the actress and commedian is after the Green Party nomination for a shot at the White House.

"I will barnstorm American living rooms," Barr stated in a Green Party candidate questionnaire, according to the news service. "Mainstream media will be unable to ignore me, but more importantly they will be unable to overlook the needs of average Americans in the run-up to the 2012 election."

May we suggest John Goodman for a running mate? Just sayin.' The debates? They'd be awesome.
