Stephanie March on Acting

"Sure, I wish there were more movie roles for women, but the best roles for women are on television. I’m a little sad that I’ve come of age when there’s so much reality TV. I was trained as an actor, and it turns out all you had to do was make a sex tape."

Stephanie March on Celebrity

"Yeah, people recognize me. It feels exactly like being a normal person, only I have to dress better. And I get way more credit than I deserve. I mean, think about it: Every day you walk the streets and pass surgeons who save lives, and you never tell them they’re doing a great job. Fame is so strange."

Stephanie March on Domesticity

"I’m really not a cook, but I think everyone should have five things that they can make well. In my house, you-know-who does the cooking [March’s husband is superchef Bobby Flay]."

Stephanie March on Balance and Perspective

"The best time in my life is the time I’m having right now. In an ideal world, I’d love to play an amazing role for six months and then travel for six months. My goal is to spend my birthday in a different country every year. I think when you enter your thirties, you challenge yourself more, and you do more. I’m old enough now to know who I am and act on my dreams but young enough that I can enjoy it."
