Ever wish your incoming texts sometimes came with an alert? You know, like, “This one is going to make you laugh, so go ahead and read it.” Or “This one is going to ruin your day—delete, stat!”
Well, all together now: There’s an app for that.
CNN reports Stress @ Work is a soon-to-be-released Android app that assigns a color to the texts you receive, as well as Facebook and Twitter messages, with green signaling a positive message, blue meaning neutral and red serving as a warning. Look for the free app this fall.
“The ultimate objective of this application is to make the user aware of the negative contents they receive so they are able to manage their stress in the best possible way,” Mohamed Gaber, one of the folks behind the app, says in a statement reported by the network.
Of course, you could just turn off your phone if you’re worried about receiving a bad message. But what’s the fun in that?
