‘The Talk’ Cohosts Go Makeup Free and Live to Discuss It

We gotta give the hosts of The Talk some serious credit: They dared to bare their faces in front of a national audience in the name of a makeup make-under.

Sharon Osbourne, Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Aisha Tyler and Sheryl Underwood, along with guest Jamie Lee Curtis, wore white towels and robes—and no makeup—on the daytime show’s third-season premiere earlier this week, TV Guide reports. 

Underwood, who compared her nonmakeup look to that of the Reverend Al Sharpton, made us laugh. “I’m glad you’re applauding,” she said, “but I’m more worried about scaring the children.”

We love the gimmick, but will we put away our lipstick? Never.
