A new episode of The Good Wife is on? Quick, where’s my phone?
Call it multitasking or just plain iPhone addiction, but a new Pew Internet and American Life Project report finds pretty much half of us use our phones while we watch TV, according to Mashable.
And what are we doing on our phones? Well, about a quarter of us are sending texts, 20 percent are looking up stuff we hear on TV, 11 percent are posting comments online about the show we’re watching, 38 percent are playing, and 6 percent are voting for our fave reality-show contestants, the website reports.
If only we could use our phones to get someone to bring us another glass of wine before The Good Wife starts. Can’t they make an app for that?
