When I was 48 I read Julia Child's obituary.  I never realized that she didn't start her business until she was 50.  It was then that I realized that I have "time" to do something else.  I had 2 children going to college and one left at home and was antsy to do something fun, creative and innovative.  I took a few classes and with the support of my husband I "jumped" off the cliff and began my own business.
 
Last year I developed some learning tools and realized that yes I loved to teach.  I have been focusing on developing learning tools to help people learn how to dress for themselves, not just for their body line and proportion-that's the easy part.  To discover "who" they really really are inside and to dress like that person on the outside and build a wardrobe that can help them live their many different lifestyles. 

I am trying to get it to the point where it can reach more people than just my immediate geographic area-perhaps take it online.  It is so much more powerful than I ever could have imagined. 

This summer I am beginning "Journey Groups" for women who want to discover their signature look (color, style, and fit).  I keep reinventing and adding to it.  So, it is every changing, evolving but that's what makes it fun and exciting.  I have a new mantra:

 

Look good, feel great and have fun doing it!
