Valerie Hausladen is an Austin-based author, speaker and consultant. She is also president and founder of Edge Communication Group, an untraditional management consulting team based in Austin and servicing clients nationwide. Over the years, she’s used her unique people skills for the benefit of Fortune 100 and entrepreneurial companies alike. Most recently, Valerie served on the original executive team of WPP's new global agency, Enfatico, building the agency's largest office from scratch. She also served as president of Tocquigny Advertising, also based in Austin. Her interactions with thousands of professionals across all levels led to a deep understanding of those who are most fulfilled by their work—and what sets them apart. Professional Destiny is Valerie’s way of helping others discover the same level of fulfillment and passion in their professional lives.

A graduate of Stanford University, Valerie has recently served on the Board of Directors for the Miracle Foundation, American Red Cross and the marketing committee for the People’s Community Clinic. She has two daughters, Stephanie and Allie, each of whom is currently pursuing her own Professional Destiny.
