I have been writing for MORE almost since the beginning, and my blog has been appearing on the MORE web site for the past couple of years. I have been telling the story of women's lives all my professional life--starting with Ms Magazine. Since the turn of the century, I have written Inventing The Rest of Our Lives: Women in Second Adulthood, and (with Mary Thom) an oral history of the late, great Bella Abzug. My latest book is Fifty Is the New Fifty: Ten Life Lessons for Women in Second Adulthood, and I am working on a new one about love at midlife. I have been married to Bob Levine for 42 years, and we have two children in their twenties (we started late.)
