More about Eileen DuJardin
I was born and grew up in northern Illinois, outside of Chicago. I've never been a "city" girl, so as soon as I got married we moved out to the country. I rode hunter jumpers and dressage horses for most of my teenage years up until my 40's. I've been with my husband for over 32 years, but we decided long ago not to have children. We moved to central Texas 16 years ago, when we got tired of the cold and the land prices of Illinois.
I'd held mostly management type jobs for all of my life, but when we moved to Texas, I decided to get into real estate. After getting my license in 1994, I tried residential real estate, which I did for about 5 years. I realized my heart was in farm and ranch properties, so when three other Realtors decided to start a specialized firm, I went with them. That was 5 years ago, and we're going strong, and I'm able to do what I love!
I gave up horses for cattle, and I now raise registered cattle, which keeps me sane after working with people all day! I also show at the major livestock shows in Texas.. something I couldn't quite give up from my horse showing days.
Life has been interesting! I've done a lot of different things, and don't have many regrets. We've started to travel more the past few years, and really enjoying every day.
