I am a woman on my own after never being on my own; at least not since I graduated from college, got this great job and apartment, then believed I could do no more 'grown up' stuff alone so I married my high school sweetheart after a 2 year absence of which I initiated when I broke up with him during college because he was boring. Two years later, he was still boring but by then I'd tasted 'adulthood' and decided the taste was too bitter to go it alone so I married him. 28 years and 3 kids later, I divorced him. 

I am an RN with a masters degree in nursing and while I no longer practice, I write about health/wellness, a passion of mine. I teach writers on the road to publication and know a little something about that subject, too.

I have a sweetie who is fun to be with part time but much too labor intensive to be with full time though, at this point in my life, I think any man is.
