Hmmm...I am a 44-year-old suburban Ohio wife and mother. Wow, that sounds cool! Could you tell that to my kids, please?  Let's see, I grew up loving everything about Hollywood and the movies....and I am still totally star-struck to this day.
     I love old movies AND new. Some of my faves are:  Casablanca, Grease, Caddyshack, What's Up Doc, most MGM musicals and all Hitchcock thrillers. Believe me, that barely scratches the surface.  I spend a lot of time putting movies and TV shows on my DVR that I never have time to watch...usually because I'm driving my kids around, surfing the net or trying to decide what take-out we're having for dinner tonight!
     I was a Journalism/PR major way back in college, and then descended on Los Angeles with big Hollywood dreams. I ended up working in advertising & promotion for King World, a company that was handling a few little shows at that time that you may have heard of: The Oprah Winfrey Show, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! It was a wild & wacky few years in La-La Land, but I'm back in the Midwest, at least for now. The future, who knows?
     I fell into blogging just over two years ago, when I fell onto a New York subway platform....literally!  As I was getting on the crowded subway during a family vacation, my left leg slipped down the narrow crevice between the subway car and the platform ("Mind the Gap").  Luckily, a handsome stranger (seriously) getting off of the car, pulled me up, asked if I was OK and then disappeared into the crowd. I survived with a fairly banged up leg and a leg-covering bruise that seemed to last forever and would scare the crowd at a horror flick.  While I was laid up....
I discovered blogging, Apple laptops and the rest is history. 
     My blog is all about movies and Hollywood -- with pictures, videos and my wacky take on the whole darn thing.
Because I love movies, the blog is NOT a critical endeavor. It's more like fan mail.

     I would love to someday write a great screenplay and sit on a film set as a cast of wonderful actors spoke lines written by me.  Unfortunately, when it comes right down to it -- I'm usually too tired at the end of the day, and would rather watch a good movie than write one. Basically....I'm having the time of my life right now, enjoying family and friends, while I talk about movies, inform you a little, oh yeah -- and hopefully make you all laugh. Enjoy!
