A little about me:

Just a simple woman. I'm Irish Catholic, married, 5' 10" tall green eyes. I'm a bit of a Sci-Fi fan (just a bit) as you can see from my lists. LOL, I love poetry and I am a very armature poet. I write about the beauty that moves me. I do not do political or social commentary poetry. Personally I feel that is what the papers, courts and debate forms are for. Those who inspire me are people like Robert Frost on nature and beauty. For me poetry is an art form to reflect the beauty in the world around whether it is the glories of growing things, mountains, and seas or even in the places that people often look at somber or bare as in the winter between snows when all seems gray unless you stop and look at its own unique beauty and this also applies to deserts which I have only a small exposure to. I wish I can say that I can crank out a poem a day, week or month but it only comes when I moved inside by the beauty or even sadness in something.
