I am a writer living in Saratoga Springs, NY. I am originally from Brooklyn, NY, and moved here to attend Skidmore College, from which I graduated in May 2007. I am now working as a journalist at Saratoga's daily newspaper, The Saratogian, where I cover city government and politics.
Although I am a dedicated journalist, I am also an essayist, and have had essays published in a number of online and print publications. In addition to writing a little for Divine Caroline, I also keep a blog at www.blue-mondays.blogspot.com, where I spend a lot of time recalling my youth, complaining about things that irk me, and extolling things that make me happy.
In another life, I am also a category 3 bike racer, and compete in events across the north east as a member of team Brooklyn Velo Force/GQ Racing. There are few places better for cycling than Saratoga County.
