I was born and raised in a small New England shoreline town. I graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2003 with a BFA in design. I have one younger sister, now 17, who has a musical talent, perfect hair and an affinity to playing with swords. I am a Cancer. I love the ocean. I have a list of things I want to do with my life that is a mile long – at least. I enjoy cooking, when I have the time. Creativity is my outlet for when I am ecstatic, depressed or somewhere in between. I really don't like folding laundry, or pulpy orange juice. I over-analyze things around me, especially words, images and how they are put together. I collect scraps of paper, news clippings, found typography, quotes, stickers, snap shots and random scraps of nothingness. I love ice cream, rice pudding and Cadbury mini-eggs that you can only get at Easter time. I believe in rescuing animals and donating to charity. I will give up 24 hours of sleep to raise money for those who give up their lives to cancer. I am passionate about teaching kids on horses. I always have a camera with me, wherever I go. My favorite color is blue. I challenge authority, ask questions and research that which I do not know. I worry too much. I indulge in comfort food. I do my best to give my all to everything I do, and sometimes I even give too much. I like to think I can save the world, even when I know I can't.
