Beginning my career as an English teacher and fitness writer, I turned my love for exercise into a new career. I train clients one-on-one in their homes or in my studio and have taught aerobic and resistance classes for seniors. I work with all age groups, however, I became interested in how fitness helps us age well when my mother was undergoing stroke therapy in 2001. I quickly saw the benefit of resistance exercise in my mother’s recovery and applied the same principles to strengthening the muscles of healthy clients.I want my clients to have a great time getting stronger.
