Five years ago, I lost 70 pounds (that's 245,000 calories!) and have been able to keep it off ever since. That experience, coupled with my 15+ years of creative writing careers prompted me to combine my professional background with my strong interest in, and success with, weight and health. I absolutely love to write and I enjoy health/fitness/nutrition, so I can't think of a better pairing!
My writings are designed to simultaneously inform and entertain in a manner void of "shame of you for having seconds" musings. I strive to provide readers with heartfelt honesty and tongue-in-cheek humor from the perspective of a real person who knows a thing or two about stretch marks to sarcastic remarks, being shunned by people to appearing in People and lycopene to love handles.
If there's not a pen or computer by my side, I make sure my camera is; I enjoy photography and capturing fun perspectives of just about anything!
Oh, and coffee . . . that goes without saying. Coffee, a nice day, a great day of writing (and of course, some exercise). . . does it get any better than that?
