I'm a 25 year old college student and Navy wife; currently residing in Virginia. Going to college and getting my B.A has been my dream since I was 13 years old. It hasn't been easy, but I'm so excited to finally be working towards that dream. Right now I'm working on my general education credits at our local community college. Next year I transfer to a four year university and begin working on my major (English!). I was recently diagnosed with ADD and while it has been and continues to be a struggle, I am thankful that I finally know what's wrong. Most importantly I am so thankful for my therapist who is teaching me that it's not "my fault" and that I'm not "inherently lazy". I know it's going to be a long road, but I'm optimistic and I know I will be okay. I'm passionate about learning more ways for to cope with my ADD and I want to help others who are dealing with the same problems.
