I am a suburban, stay-at-home mom. 16 years ago I would have never guessed I would be unemployed to raise my children. As Oprah says,"It is the most difficult job in the world." It is also the most rewarding. I only wish it paid a little green. I write to stay sane. Once my life is on paper it doesn't seem half as bad as say Housewives of Atlanta. In fact, I begin to appreciate my life more after realizing I'm just this side of normal. Life in the burbs is full of tennis lessons, lacrosse games, PTA functions, lunch out with the girls and the latest neighborhood gossip. My life is full of laundry, cooking, cleaning, last minute homework as well as cleaning up after the dogs. I wouldn't have it any other way.
