My name is pronounced Judy Judy, so we knew we were meant for one another from the start. My wonderful husband Tom, is very patient with my passions for rescuing animals (mostly llamas) and being kind to our great Mother Earth. Our little family unit of five (two red-headed, teen-aged sons and a ten year old mini-me) lives in the spectacular Rocky Mountains outside of Bailey, CO. Surrounded by this breathtaking scenery and living with the animals that thrive with in it, gives us a daily reminder as to why we strive to be eco-friendly.
The Royal Ranch is a historical old house and is home to all of my various llama businesses. We have a B&B that attaches to Pike National Forest, Royal Llama Adventures which works with hunters and day hikers, and now we have come up with a new innovative natural resource, Naked~Nure. It is 100% naked, nutrient rich llama manure fertilizer "tea" for any and all plants. Naked~Nure is over-sized tea bags that any gardener, urban or suburban, can just pop into their regular watering container. It is wonderful, because we have made it with recycled materials, and there is absolutely no waste, 100% reusable!
One of my other great joys in life is writing. I have a blog that is doing quite well, but most importantly, I am making my readers see things from a different perspective. What more could I ask? I am also in the process of publishing my children's story, Llucky Llama. It's a great story about rescue llamas, the love we share and the funny stories that go along with turning a rescue into a working llama.
This life that we are blessed to live gives me plenty of opportunities to share.
