I am a divorced, 51 year old single mom with 2 grown kids. In the past 5 to 7 years I have been struggling with gaining weight, raging hormones, and trying to stay happy and satisfied. I have a very active, healthy lifestyle, and I love to have fun. In the past year I have lost 25 pounds and gone down 2 sizes without becoming an exercise freak, and still enjoying the foods I love. It's been a slow process but I have made a definite lifestyle change that I can maintain the rest of my life. My favorite exercise is thru sports such as racquetball, and golf. I also do a short ab workout every morning. I am interested in pursuing a writing career, which is a big change from being a CPA for the past 30 years. I am also getting ready to move to Florida to start the next phase of my life. I started a blog about my journey to healthy weightloss after 50 based on my own personal experiences, about 5 months ago. I have gotten great respnse to my articles which has motivated me to keep on writing. I look forward to sharing my articles here as well as reading others.
