I am a single mother (almost 45 years old) with 4 children, ages 1, 5, 10, and 12. I am a Christian now, having been through recovery and I wanted to let people know how a negative experience can be made into a positive one. I wrote a book called "One Year Later...From addiction to recovery to sobriety". It's available online at Amazon.com and a few other sites. It's really kind of plain jane on the cover, but I can always upgrade if and when I get some money.
I am always searching for touching inspirations. I love to read and I finally came across this site this morning. I read a couple of articles and I immediately felt right at home. I mean, some of the things I read could have easily been taken right out of my book, but I know they weren't. It's very soothing to know that others see things the way I do. A lot of people live their whole lives and never truly get to know themselves, let alone others. This is really sad. I am learning the importance of open and honest communication. I will be writing some more. Thank you so much for letting me share and helping me to feel a part of something worthwhile here in cyberspace. I am so excited. However, I have to go and change a diaper now. Until next time.....God Bless!!
