Angeline Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton’s Blood-Vial Necklaces

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly Jolie cleared up the rumors that her and ex-husband Thornton wore vials full of each other's blood around their necks. “No! It was never a vial anyway. It was like a flower press. It was like from a slight cut on your finger and you press your fingerprint in. It was kind of a sweet gesture. I thought it was kind of romantic!”

Woody Allen Marries His Ex-Girlfriend's Daughter

Talk about keeping it in the family. In 1992 Allen called it off with longtime sweetheart Mia Farrow and jumped into the arms of her 22 year-old adopted daughter, Soon-Yi Pervin. (At the time, Allen was 56). The pairing generated much controversy, and while Allen never married Farrow, he was perceived as a father figure to her children.

He’s a notorious bad-boy; she’s notorious for going after bad boys. So when tattoo artist Kat Von D linked up with motorcycle designer Jesse James, they seemed a match-made in rebel heaven. Von D surprised her then-fiancé when she inked his fifth grade school photo on her body. Shortly after, they split.

Tom Cruise Jumps on Oprah's Couch

Cruise cut no corners when it came to showcasing his love for Katie Holmes (seen here at the Valkeryie premier) from motorcycle red carpet arrivals to a proposal on top of the Eiffel Tower, his motto was go big, or go home. But when the actor appeared on the Oprah show, jumping on furniture and fist pumping in excitement, the world threw a collective side-eye. Oprah later told the actor, "You are gone!"

Ben Affleck Makes His Music Video Debut

In 2002, Jennifer Lopez asked fiance Ben Affleck to make a cameo in her music video, "Jenny from the Block." The pair were shown on a yacht (not a far cry from their flashy relationship) rolling arounnd in bathing suits and applying sunblock. Just as quickly as it began, Bennifer's romance fizzled after two years. At least they'll always have Gigli.

The arrangement Swinton has with her, errr, lovers, is quite the unusual one. "I don't have a husband. I've never been married. I have children with someone else, with whom I'm bringing up my children. And I've lived with someone else, my sweetheart, for the last three years, and maybe it's extraordinary that we're really all friends. We are all a family."

Denise Richards Dates Her Best Friend's Ex-Husband

When Richards split from husband Charlie Sheen, she found comfort in the most unlikely of places: her friend's ex-husband. Heather Locklear had already split from Richie Sambora, but still took offense to the coupling and ended their friendship. Richards told Entertainment Tonight, "You know, the four of us were friends, so it's not just odd for her. I mean, Charlie knew Richie, but it's always the women who get the brunt of it all! You can't help who you fall for.”
