Not to worry; there are plenty of men willing to pay to protect her. The New York Daily News reports that a new study out of the University of Rochester in New York finds when men were shown photos and asked to point out women they found hottest—and would shell out cash for—they most often chose a lady in red.

“Red is an aphrodisiac,” Andrew Elliot, an author of the study, tells the newspaper.

And here we thought green was the color of money.
