Summer is the season for swimming, ice cream cones, and weddings. So, your calendar is probably booked every weekend. And even if you have your outfits planned and the shoes to match, you're still going to need a few different 'dos. Check out these three hairstyles for wedding guests; they're sure to impress.
The Low Bun
Take a small piece of hair from each side of your head and secure it in the back with a small elastic as if you were going to make a half updo. Braid all of your hair in a loose three-strand braid. Secure with an elastic. Then take the braid and roll it like a cinnamon bun, making sure you cover all the elastics. Secure the bun with bobby pins.
The Topsy Tail Braid
Take a small piece from the front of your hair, and secure it in the back with a small elastic. Using a topsy tail or your fingers, flip that ponytail around itself from out to in. Next, secure all the hair with another small elastic. Make a little hole just above the elastic; and, with your fingers or the topsy tail, flip the hair around itself again from out to in. Pull on it to create volume. Continue to topsy-tail down your ponytail, securing and flipping as you go.
The Twisted Half Updo
Take a small piece from the front of your hair, and secure it in the back with a small elastic. Take hair from both sides, and wrap it around the secured hair. If you need to—for example, if your hair is finer or shorter than the model's—secure it with a few bobby pins. Accessorize with a cute clip.
