The Silvery Blue Hair Trend Is The Chillest Thing To Happen This Winter

New year, new hair. The silvery blue hair trend is taking over Instagram by storm, and we couldn't imagine anything cooler for the dipping winter temps.

There's something about a brand new year that makes a fresh new 'do sound like the right way to go. Last fall brought the sugary sweet pumpkin spice hair and the out of this world galaxy hair that we couldn't get enough of.

Of course, with the winter cool comes an icy new trend that's taking the Insta world by storm. The new trend is equal parts icy blue and stunning silver, clearly perfect for the chilly months ahead.

Stylists are taking their own twist on the new trend, and we couldn't be more obsessed with the final results. Take a peek at some of our favorite photos below to fill you with all the hair envy.

Balanced Blues

With tones varying from white silver to berry blue, the perfect balance seems to be a white shade with a tint of blue popping through. It's perfectly cool, and the blue tones add a touch of fun.

Channel Cool Silvers

This isn't your grandma's silver. The cool-as-snow white and light layers of silver are the perfect balance for a sharp, clean new year's look.

Go Gray

If you're totally feeling this trend, don't be afraid to go all out with a deep, dark gray-blue. Easily the most dramatic and intense, we can't help but want to start our year feeling like we can take on anything—and this hair does just that.
