Style an Easy Updo for Short Hair

Who says only those with long locks can pull off an updo? Try this simple hairstyle designed for those with shorter hair to get your look red carpet-ready in no time.

Bobby pins are your best friend when doing an updo for short hair. Start by pulling your hair back in a pompadour. Twist the hair on each side of your face back and secure each with crisscrossed bobby pins. Make sure the twists meet each other in the back. Next you'll pull the back section of hair up. Do this by sectioning it into two parts. Take each section, start at the root and twist it up then secure it with crisscrossed bobby pins. Clip a hair accessory where the twists meet to dress the look up more!
