B.B. Creams We’re Loving
The BB products I'm coveting…for this week, anyway.
My skin is not perfect. I’m a big enough person to admit that. I’m lucky enough not to have pimples, but my face tends to get a little flushed and blotchy.
Anyway, like many women, I find myself in lots of situations where I want a product that evens out my skin a bit, but isn’t quite as high-commitment as a real foundation. That’s why I’m so ecstatic that B.B. Creams are becoming so popular.
Although many B.B. Creams have ingredients to fight acne and actually improve skin, I simply like to think of them as the perfect “weekend makeup”—something to wear around that keeps my face protected from the sun, moisturized, and a teensy-bit better-looking. Smack-dab in the middle of “I didn’t try at all” and “I tried way too hard,” or in fashion terms, halfway between Uggs and Louboutins. The texture can take some getting used to—they tend to feel a bit thick, like primer—but they’re great lazy-gal, weekend-day, no-muss-no-fuss additions to any beauty bag.
