How To Get Cara Delevingne's Stunning Smokey Eye

Our favorite badass beauty babe Cara Delevingne can pull off any look — including a rusty-red smokey eye. We found out how you can get this exact same look at home.

Cara Delevingne is one of those badass babes who can seriously pull off anything, which was especially apparent at the London premiere of Suicide Squad.

We adore Suzie from Hello October's take on her incredibly cool beauty look. In a few easy steps, you'll be looking as freaking awesome as Cara herself.

Step 1: Start With Your Base

Start with your foundation base — Suzie recommends a medium coverage foundation — and use concealer to cover any blemishes.

Step 2: Build Your Brows

Use a brow gel to fill 'em in as much as you'd like. Whether you're going for Cara's signature super huge brows, or just hoping to keep them a bit more angled, it's totally your pick.

Step 3: Get Smokey

YouTube

Now time for the blending! Hello October's Suzie says matte shadows are best. Cover the lid with a burnt shade of red, focusing most of the attention toward the center and outer corner, keeping the inner corner relatively light.

Follow that by blending a lighter shade of purple in the center to the outer corner of your lids. Use a deeper shade of red in the crease for that last bit of BAM.

Step 4: Line With Shadow

YouTube

Line your eyes with the same deeper shade of red you used in the crease. Use a pencil brush, or a brush with short, firm bristles, to apply the shadow to the outer corners of the upper lid. Blend that out using a blending brush, and...

Repeat! Repeat!

Repeat the previous step on the bottom lash line, making sure not to blend the darker, rusty-red out too much.

Step 5: Break Out The Kohl Liner

YouTube

Now it's time to line your eyes! Use a black shadow along the upper lash line, and after that's blended, use a black kohl liner right at the root of the lashes. Then add the kohl liner to your lower water line all the way to the inner corner.

Step 6: Coat The Mascara

YouTube

Aim for something not too clumpy and full, but still dramatic. Your lashes totally deserve some mascara love.

Step 7: Clean It Up

YouTube

Use your fave concealer to clean up the final look. Suzie recommends you apply the concealer under your eyes and blend upward to create a cleaner line where the shadow ends.

Step 8: Blast The Bronzer And Blusher

Bring the bronzer up through your temples. A light pink on the cheeks finishes up Cara's naturally warm cheeks.

Step 9: Finish Up With A Neutral Lip

Nothing seals the deal like a neutral, light pink lip.
