Was it a trick of the light? Or did Fenty Beauty’s Instagram just give a glimpse at a new Lip Paint?!
Rihanna’s cosmetics line Fenty Beauty has become a well known and praised makeup brand since its launch in 2017. The products are beautiful and the quality unmatched, from the Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipstick to the 40 shades of Pro Filt’r Foundation fans can’t get enough and are hungry for new shades. And now a very suspicious Instagram post has been causing a lot of controversy among the Fenty Beauty fandom: a glimpse at what seems to be a new Lip Paint.
Gotta take a double take?
The video features Fenty Beauty’s original Stunna Lip Paint Longwear Fluid Lip Color. This high-impact red lip color is so highly pigmented it only requires one swipe across the wearer’s lips and done. (If you need additional help take a glimpse at this quick tutorial by Bad Gal Riri herself.)
But back to the new Lip Paint shade dilemma. If you look closely in the video, just at the very end, it appears that the Lip Paint bottles change color to a darker shade for a split second when they all connect. Also it’s noted in the caption that the shade is called “Stunna,” which one could argue means there are more shades to come in the future. The discreet caption and video hasn’t gone unnoticed, and fans are visible shook in the comments.

Rihanna and Fenty Beauty have yet to confirm or deny the rumors, but it’s clear from the comments that a demand for a deeper red is there.
