Rihanna’s New Makeup Tutorial Has Us Loving The ‘Goth Chic’ Look
Ready for some dark glam? Rihanna just dropped a scary good makeup tutorial with a look she’s dubbed as “goth chic” using some of her favorite Fenty Beauty products.
We’re officially trading in our love of berry lipstick this season for something much darker. In Rihanna’s second video for her Fenty Beauty Youtube series dubbed Tutorial Tuesdays, the makeup mogul showed how to achieve a “goth chic casual look,” as Rihanna puts it, featuring one of Fenty Beauty’s newest drops: Stunna Lip Paint Longwear Fluid Lip Color in “Uninvited,” which is a smooth black lipstick.
“I’m gonna be a total YouTuber now and do it, like, the professional way,” Rihanna jokes during the video, but honestly she should. The stand-out look centers on Fenty Flyliner Longwear Liquid Eyeliner as well, but the pièce de résistance is the Stunna Lip Paint in the hyper-saturated black, with a little going a long way. Seriously, Rihanna only has to dip the wand into the liquid lipstick once for each of the top and bottom lip.
Rihanna also demonstrates how to “warm up” the eye with the Moroccan Spice Eyeshadow Palette before offering tips for creating an understated cat eye by using the tip of her Flyliner to press harder or softer for thick or thinner lines. She then finishes the look by highlighting her cheekbones and nose and adding a touch of sparkle drama to the inner corners of her eyes.
But don’t take our word for it, watch the incredibly enjoyable and easy-to-follow video above, and get your own Rihanna-inspired this witchy look for everyday. And if you want her look exactly, scroll down to shop the Fenty Beauty products she used for her delightfully dark makeup look.
