How To Transform Gucci's Wild Dipped Nails Into An Everyday Look

The Gucci Cruise 2018 show in Florence last weekend brought the fashion to our fingertips.

Fashion eyes everywhere were on the Gucci Cruise 2018 show in Florence last weekend, so it was a good thing that no detail was left unadorned β€” including the models' fingernails.

Renowned manicurist Jenny Longworth took an unconventional approach to the manicures rocked at the show, covering the models' hands in Gucci jewelry and giving them a "dipped ink nails" look with black painted fingertips extending far past the nail.

While these aren't the first dip-dyed fingernails that we've seen, Longworth made them a bit more grown up and less angsty with the Gucci hardware and pearls adorning them with a bit of glam that rivaled any nail art we've ever seen.

As elegant as they are, dipped ink nails probably won't be a look that you are going to want to rock on a day-to-day basis. But Instagram (of course) has the answer to that. Go for an all-black manicure topped off with pearls. Or feel free to add chunky bracelets and rings. Check out some of these less dramatic styles for inspiration that allow for your everday activites while still giving off a just-as-fabulous runway vibe!
