The 10 Best Celebrity-Owned Restaurants

Many people enjoy trying new restaurants, especially those owned and operated by a celebrity. Some of your favorite celebs own eateries all over the globe, so we’ve narrowed down a pretty solid list for you to explore.

TriBeCa Grill

Actor Robert DeNiro opened the TriBeCa Grill in the heart of Manhattan. The eatery serves up delicious New American fare and has an even more impressive wine list. In fact, the restaurant has won the Grand Award from Wine Spectator Magazine every year since 2002!

DeNiro also owns Locanda Verde (Italian) in NYC and is the co-founder of celebrity hotspot NOBU, which has multiple locations including New York, Las Vegas, Dubai, and Miami.

Robert Redford opened his restaurant, Zoom, in Park City, Utah, in 1995. The actor wanted to bring American continental cuisine to the Sundance resort family. The Cocoa Nib Crusted Scallops and the truffle mac & cheese are must-try appetizers.

Arnold Palmer’s Restaurant

Sure, Arnold Palmer can golf. And he has a tasty alcoholic beverage named after him. But did you know that he also has his own restaurant in La Quinta, California? Start with the eatery’s cream lobster bisque before choosing your main course. Whether you’re in the mood for seafood (try the swordfish) or a steak (go with the filet mignon), you will not be disappointed. Oh, and don’t skip dessert! The homemade coconut cream pie or the warm deep dish brownie are both solid choices.

If you live in or are visiting Beverly Hills, you may want to make a reservation at Tagine. We don’t want you to get too excited, but Ryan Gosling owns the place. The one-of-a-kind dining experience is a hidden gem. The menu is well thought-out and there really isn’t anything people don’t like.

Southern Hospitality

Justin Timberlake can do more than drop an unexpected song of the summer! The former boy-bander opened this restaurant with his two pals, Eytan Sugarman and Trace Ayal, in 2007. The eatery claims to have the best BBQ fare in Hell’s Kitchen. Customer favorite menu items include Dry Rubbed BBQ Ribs, Sweet and Sticky Baby Back Ribs, and Crispy Southern Fried Chicken. The fried pickles and mac & cheese are also pretty yummy.

The Cutting Room

Chris Noth (a.k.a. Mr. Big) teamed up with pal Steve Walter to open The Cutting Room in New York City. While some people may show up for a bite to eat, this place is centered around music, hence its name. Get the zucchini tacos regardless of why you showed up. The crab cakes are also a favorite.

Soul Kitchen

Jon Bon Jovi opened the Soul Kitchen in Red Bank, New Jersey, as a “pay what you can” comfort food restaurant. The rocker wanted to create an atmosphere that was stress-free while serving up some great food. Those who cannot afford to pay for their meal can opt to do volunteer work instead. You won’t get a menu, but will be asked to pay $10 per meal if you can, which includes a 3-course dinner with basic options (think of it like a wedding meal selection). The food, though limited, is said to be well-prepared delicious.

BESO Restaurant

Eva Longoria teamed up with celebrity chef Todd English to bring you BESO. Located in Hollywood, the eatery offers a Latin approach to a modern steakhouse. Sounds cool, right? There aren’t too many places where you can enjoy guacamole as a starter and then a 14 oz. Rib Eye as your main course. The Latin flavors present in the dishes offered at BESO will keep your taste buds on edge!

Brett Favre’s Steakhouse

If you’re in the Green Bay, Wisconsin, area, why not make a reservation at Brett Favre’s Steakhouse? It’s easily one of the best steakhouses in the state, offering a menu full of serious flavor and a dining area filled with sports memorabilia. Menu favorites include the jambalaya and the porter house.

Richard Gere’s restaurant offers diners a contemporary American menu. Located inside the Bedford Post in Westchester Country, New York, Campagna is known to offer a first class dining experience. The atmosphere is beautiful and while the portions are small for the price, the food is quite good.
