15 Celebrity Kids Following in Their Famous Parent’s Footsteps
by Effie Orfanides
Many times in the entertainment industry, the apple doesn’t fall too far from the celebrity tree. Indeed, talent is seemingly passed down from parent to child on many occasions and sometimes the younger generation even grows to outshine the elder. While they’re still young, here are 15 famous kids who are already making names for themselves.
In addition to winning Dancing with the Stars with dance pro Val Chmerkovskiy, Rumer Willis, the daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, recently went on a talent tour, showing off her vocal skills. We wonder how many times she had to listen to her father’s R&B album when growing up.
In addition to entertaining the world with his outlandish social media sound bytes, Jaden, son of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, is also entertaining viewers with his performances on screen, including the remake of The Karate Kid.
While her antics may not get as much attention as her brother, Willow Smith, daughter of Will and Jada, is racking up roles on her resume just as quickly, appearing in front of the camera and on multiple soundtracks.
Son of Victoria Beckham and David Beckham, Brooklyn has broken into the world of modeling. The 17-year-old has been making a name for himself and really has broken out in 2016.
Not unlike his brother, Romeo Beckham has also started getting into modeling. Good looks definitely run in this family.
Just this past week, Iris Law, daughter of actor Jude Law and actress/fashion designer/former model Sadie Frost, landed her first-ever “Teen Vogue” shoot. The 15-year-old recently started modeling and this will be her first official fashion mag piece.
Cindy Crawford is one of the most well-known models in the world. It makes sense that her daughter, Kaia, would follow in her footsteps. Kaia really is like a mini-Cindy.
A third-generation talent, Vivienne is the daughter of actress Angelina Jolie—who herself is the daughter of acclaimed actor Jon Voight—and actor-father Brad Pitt. That’s certainly a talented gene pool of which to be a part.
The 30-year-old daughter of legendary Billy Joel has followed in her dad’s footsteps. She has been singing for years and is a talented pianist. Are you at all surprised by this?
Maude and Iris Apatow
Maude and Iris may have gotten the acting bug from actress-mother Leslie Mann, but we’re betting they also got plenty of creativity from producer-director-occasional-actor-father Judd Apatow. Of course, getting roles in Dad’s movies probably doesn’t hurt either.
Daughter of the late, great Michael Jackson, Paris has started her own singing career, finding therapy within music. She has shared some of her talents on social media and has received a rather warm response to her tracks.
The adopted son of Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman has been working in the industry as a DJ.
The daughter of iconic actor Samuel L. Jackson, Zoe Jackson is busy cutting her teeth behind the camera, working as a Field Producer on Top Chef and directing her own short film, Everything Is Samuel L. Jackson’s Fault.
Marten, the son of Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner, starred on Dad’s show as Glen Bishop in 12 episodes throughout the show’s run.
At just 9 years of age Dannielynn Birkhead, the daughter of Larry Birkhead and the late Anna Nicole Smith, has herself already taken the plunge into the demanding world of modeling. Although Larry tries his best to keep his daughter away from the press, the world has loved seeing her grow up, especially at their traditional father-daughter trip to the Kentucky Derby.
