Britney Spears Posts Three Instagram Videos, Fans Freak Out

Get it, girl!
Britney Spears posted three sexy videos on Instagram this week and fans went nuts, thinking that the pop star was trying to deliver some sort of secret message! Britney stripped down to a bikini (or maybe it was a bra and panties) and danced to Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats’ “S.O.B” while sitting on the ground. Covered in what appeared to be baby oil and temporary tattoos, Brit showed off her incredible body, clearly proud of herself (as she should be!).
Fans watched the videos over and over again, trying to figure out what these black and white posts actually meant. And while everyone was hoping that this was Britney’s way of making some kind of announcement, that wasn’t the case.
According to E! News, Spears wasn’t trying to announce anything… she was just “having fun.”
“She’s just having fun. She’s feeling great, is in great shape so she posted some videos she took,” said a source.
Britney Spears has been working on a new album — which is not a secret. Although her residency in Las Vegas has kept her busy over the past couple of years, Brit has posted a few pictures from the studio and has said that she’s recording new music. According to Entertainment Weekly, Britney’s three videos could have been a way for her to announce the release of a new single — which is what everyone was hoping. Since Britney decided not to caption the videos… people were left guessing.
“Although the 33-year-old declined to add a caption — or anything that might hint at what she’s up to — she confirmed in November that she was working on a new album,” reports Entertainment Weekly.
Now, days later, there isn’t an announcement. No new music has been released. And Britney is back to posting photos and videos of her daily life and her two sons. No worries for Britney fans, though. The Piece Of Me singer is expected to release a full studio album this year and she also recently announced that she has extended her Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood by two more years.
