Celebs Whose Marriages Define #RelationshipGoals

Chris Pratt and Anna Faris? The Obamas? Please excuse us for gushing over these freaking adorable couples.

These celebs have restored our faith in soul mates.

1. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt
Brangelina has been a power couple from the start, and it’s obvious they are devoted to one another after being together for over ten years. They first interacted on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith in 2005, where Jolie claims they fell in love. Pitt was married to Jennifer Aniston at the time, but rumors circulated that Jolie was the reason for the divorce. Despite their rocky beginning, Brad and Angelina have thrived over the past decade, growing a beautiful family in the process.

2. Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher
Mila was 14 and Ashton was 20 when they met on the set of That 70’s Show, which premiered in 1998 (Ashton was Mila’s first kiss—aww!). Their onscreen chemistry was obvious, but it wasn’t until 2012 that they made their relationship public. Both celebs had just gotten out of long-term relationships (Mila with Macaulay Culkin and Ashton with Demi Moore), and it seems they’ve finally found their perfect match. Ashton calls Mila “the most valuable person in the world.”

3. Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively
Ryan first met Blake Lively when they began filming for The Green Lantern in 2010. It didn’t take long for the co-stars to fall for one another, as they began dating a few months after meeting. They bought a house together the year after and were married in 2012. They have one daughter, named James, and recently announced they are expecting another.

4. John Krasinski and Emily Blunt
Damnit, Jim. We were pretty cautious about his marriage to Emily Blunt, considering we all hoped that John Krasinski would end up with his co-star from The Office, Jenna Fischer (still holding out, honestly). But we’ve got to admit that this couple is incredibly cute (cc: every single photo of them on the red carpet). It’s always John whispering into Emily’s ear, the couple laughing at some inside joke, gazing into each other’s eyes, unable to wipe the smiles off of their faces. They hardly ever look at the camera. But hey, if we were Emily Blunt, we wouldn’t take our eyes off of John Krasinski either.

5. John Legend and Chrissy Teigen
We’d like to thank the age-old saying, “opposites attract,” for this match made in heaven. Everyone knows Chrissy Teigen as the hilarious firecracker, while John Legend seems to always keep his cool. We can’t even imagine him yelling, but we can’t really imagine her ever shutting up (not that we want her to). That must be why the pair works so well together. Chrissy just gave birth to their daughter, Luna, in April, but it was their pregnancy announcement back in October that had us obsessing over the couple. The two aren’t shy about their PDA moments and take any opportunity to snuggle up to one another.

6. Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi
Portia and Ellen have been in a relationship since 2004, and finally married in 2008 after the overturn of the same-sex marriage ban in California. When asked about their Valentine’s Day plans, Degeneres said, “We don’t even give each other presents for Christmas or birthdays anymore… Love and respect—that is all we need.” And then she added, “It’s corny, but [Portia’s] my soul mate. She’s my everything to me and I don’t know what I’d do without her.” The happy couple lives in Beverly Hills with their four dogs and three cats. We can’t imagine a better life.

7. Chris Pratt and Anna Faris
It’s no secret that Chris Pratt is a heartthrob, and we are so jealous of Anna Faris. The couple met when Anna was still married to her previous husband, Ben Indra. They began dating shortly after Faris left her husband, and soon realized that they were soul mates. “Anna and I are meant to be together,” Pratt said in an AMA session on Reddit. “Our relationship has made me believe in divine intervention and destiny.” Not to mention they were both blessed with good looks AND hilarious senses of humor. Just watch Anna on the Ellen Show pranking her hubby.

8. Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan
Channing and Jenna met on the set of Step Up in 2006, and began dating shortly after filming finished. Their story is basically a real-life rom-com: Channing was a college dropout who worked odd jobs to make a living, while Jenna was a cheerleader, prom queen, and sorority girl. Step Up brought the unlikely couple together, and they danced their way into each other’s hearts. And their love is still going strong. Just check out Channing’s Instagram and his adorable posts about his wifey. Or their epic lip sync battle.

9. Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka
Neil Patrick Harris is one of the few A-listers to be publicly out and proud. He and husband David Burtka both juggle busy careers as well as raising a family, they have fraternal twins named Gideon and Harper (and they are the cutest). In an interview with Barbara Walters, NPH explained that their children are biological. He and David both played a role in the fertilization process, so biologically, one twin is Neil’s and one twin is David’s. “I have no interest in [finding out]. We are their parents and I love them implicitly,” said NPH.

10. The Obamas
Of course the POTUS and his kick-ass wife had to make our list of the best celeb marriages. Not only does the couple remain polished and poised as the leaders of our country, but they also make time to work on their relationship. In his second book, Barack Obama wrote about the weight of his political campaign and how the couple was often “tired and stressed,” but they still made time for date nights and family. Obama mentions his wife in almost every speech he gives, not to mention he isn’t ashamed to show love to her with adorable PDA moments. On Valentine’s Day, because the couple was apart, they sent video messages to one another. The Obamas are serious #RelationshipGoals.
