Kanye probably needs to reevaluate his life choices.

If you were living under a rock for most of yesterday, you might have missed that President-elect Donald Trump had a meeting with Kanye about “life.”

Problem one of many with this scenario: Trump can’t seem to find the time to meet for daily intelligence briefings at the White House (which ~obviously~ would be a total waste of time), but he can find time to have a “life chat” with a celebrity? Uh, what?

You might remember a few weeks ago when Kanye went on a political rant at a concert in San Jose, telling the world that he didn’t vote, but that he would have supported Trump if he did. (He was also hospitalized for mental exhaustion days after the incident.) Now, we totally get that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. However, Yeezy is on record as once claiming “George Bush doesn’t care about black people,” but Trump is not really known for his, ahem, caring statements on people of color.

In addition, it’s also widely known that Trump seriously judged Kim Kardashian-West’s pregnant body saying, “She’s gotten a little bit large.” (Because that’s what happens when you grow a human being inside of you, Donald), so we find it unpleasantly surprising that Kanye is all of a sudden so chummy with the future president.

And if you aren’t confused enough about this new friendship, it turns out that not only did Trump criticize Kim while she was pregnant, but in an appearance on Howard Stern’s SiriusXM radio show in 2013 he also openly body shamed her when she wasn’t carrying Kanye’s child.

“Does she have a good body? No,” Trump states in the video. “Does she have a fat ass? Absolutely. And if it weren’t Kim, they’d say, ‘Wow, I don’t want to go out with her.'”

This might surprise you (lol, obviously kidding) but Kim was a big Hillary supporter in the presidential election.

Now, maybe it’s just us, but if someone (anyone, actually) ever talked about our SO like that, we would have some choice words for them, and we would most definitely not be discussing “life” together. So Kanye, we get that you and your fam might be going through a lot right now, but maybe do a reevaluation of your life choices, man. We had much, much higher expectations of you.
