From Kerry Washington to Leonardo DiCaprio, here are 40 celebrities who’ve pledged their allegiance to Hillary Clinton.
Kerry Washington
Earlier in the campaign, Hillary Clinton made a pit stop on the set of Scandal. Kerry Washington, otherwise known as Olivia Pope, took this opportunity to show her support for the leading lady. “A good friend came by set today. Proud to say…#imwithher,” she captioned a picture on Instagram.
Katy Perry
When she’s not too busy putting out new hits like Rise, Katy Perry can be seen enthusiastically sharing her love for Hillary Clinton. The pop star has accompanied the presidential nominee to several fundraisers and even spoke at the DNC before an epic performance of the campaign’s theme song Roar.
Chloe Moretz
Among a slew of young stars who plan to vote for Hillary, Moretz was the youngest celeb to speak at the DNC. The 19-year-old urged millennials to vote for Hillary if they want a president that will fight for equal pay for equal work, and, most importantly, allow students to graduate without any debt.
Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga and Hillary Clinton go way back. The two have shown support for each other on several occasions; one of the most memorable times being in December of last year when Clinton penned an exclusive essay for Billboard applauding the pop-queen along with several other women in the music. More recently, Gaga paid tribute to the presidential nominee by posting a patriotic picture on Instagram with the caption: “#Hillary2016 Nothing can keep a strong woman down. VOTE for the first female U.S. president in history. Shake it up America, this country needs a little rock n’ roll.”
Amy Schumer
You can count on Amy Schumer for declaring her love for Hillary Clinton in the most hilarious way imaginable. Not only did she dance with the leading lady on Ellen, but also starred as President Amy Schinton on her show Inside Amy.
Julianne Moore
Remember when Julianne Moore posed as Clinton in a promotional photo? The A-list celeb endorsed the presidential nominee via Twitter and has also taken the stage multiple times to show her love for potential lady-in-charge.
Lena Dunham
Why Lena Dunham supports Hillary has nothing to do with her anatomy or girl power, she told TIME. On several occasions the Girls star has said that her support for Hillary stems from the belief that she would do the best job as president and that is all. “I vividly remember being 6 and watching Hillary Clinton walk into the White House and forever change our notion of what a First Lady can be,” she said. “Now I’m almost 30 and dreaming of a future in which she steps into the White House again and does the same thing as president.”
George and Amal Clooney
George and Amal Clooney is one of many celebrity couples to host a campaign fundraiser at their home. The power couple welcomed several esteemed guests, including Ellen and Jane Fonda, to a glamorous evening where tickets ran $33,400 per person. Though a little (and by little we mean A LOT) out of our price range, that affair is something we all wish we could have attended.
Emma Roberts
Of course Emma Roberts finds a way to show her appreciation for Hillary through fashion. The Scream Queens star recently posted a picture of herself on Instagram wearing a striped HRC t-shirt with the caption, “Love my @HilaryClinton @TanyaTaylor campaign tee #MadeforHistory #ImWithHer.”
Beyonce
Though Queen Bey hasn’t been very public about her support for Hillary, she did attend a New York City fundraiser for her in May 2015. “Say you’ll Bey on Team #Hillary2016, too,” the Clinton campaign tweeted, with a picture of Beyonce at the event. How cheeky?
Kim and Kanye West
Leave it to Kim Kardashian to take a selfie with democratic presidential nominee. Clinton met both Kim and Kanye at a fundraiser in Los Angeles and recalls the encounter in an interview with Vanity Fair. “You know, I just met her for the first time,” Hillary said. “I really found her to be warm and very personable.”
Pharrell Williams
For Pharrell, choosing the next POTUS has a lot to with anatomy. “Women think about things in a holistic way, it’s not so individual,” he told Ellen in an interview. “I’m saying I’m happy to be a man, but I love women. The thing is, if we had somebody looking after our country that thought about things as a whole, I just feel like it just would be different.” We might have ourselves a new crush.
Salma Hayek
Salma Hayek has no problem opening up about why she supports Hillary. “Because she’s a woman she’s always been in the shadows operating under the rules of men, and she’s navigated beautifully in it,” Hayek told The Daily Beast. “We have not seen her full potential yet.” The Tale of Tales star also doesn’t hold back when it comes to how she feels about Trump. In a hilarious tweet, she indirectly summed up how she feels about the Republican presidential nominee. “I am a dyslexic Mexican and English is my second language,” she wrote “but even I don’t confuse 7/11 with 9/11 #DonaldTrump”. Mic drop.
Jesse Fergeson
The Modern Family actor took to Twitter in April to wittily show his support for Hillary Clinton in a unique way. “I have an announcement,” he wrote. “I am not running for president. Yay! #Hillary2016”. Well played Jesse, well played.
Kendall Jenner
The reality star-turned-supermodel endorsed Hillary back in February—and like Emma Roberts used fashion to show it. She posted a picture to Instagram wearing an edgy Marc Jacobs tee with Hillary Clinton’s face on it. Accompanying the photo was the caption: “Shirt by @themarcjacobs. History by @hillaryclinton. #MadeForHistory #ImWithHer.”
Robert De Niro
The Academy Award-winning actor is a longtime supporter of the Democratic Party. He’s endorsed Al Gore, John Kerry and Barack Obama for president so it comes as no surprise that he is an avid supporter of Hillary Clinton. “I think she’s paid her dues,” he told The Daily Beast. “There are going to be no surprises, and she has earned the right to be president and the head of the country at this point. It’s that simple.”
Britney Spears
Brit met up privately with Clinton during Hil’s campaign in Nevada, hanging in the star’s Las Vegas hotel suite. “Being in Vegas for #PieceOfMe is amazing for so many reasons… Especially today…” Britney posted on Instagram, “because I had the incredible opportunity to meet @HillaryClinton!! Such an inspiration and beautiful voice for women around the world!!! This woman had an intense presence and I felt very honored to meet her!!!”
Demi Lovato
Demi Lovato has been an enthusiastic part of the Clinton campaign since the first caucus in Iowa. Lovato performed at a large rally in Iowa City last year and may have even helped Clinton come from behind to win the state.
John Legend and Chrissy Teigen
Power couple John Legend and Chrissy Teigen have both used their voices and talents to support presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton, making appearances at fundraisers and performing at concerts including the “She’s With Us” Fundraising Concert at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.
Uzo Aduba
Orange is the New Black stars Uzo Aduba and Dascha Polanco are both such huge Clinton fans that they got together to make a video supporting her. “She’s been in politics since before we were born,” Polanco says. “She has experience. She is somebody who not only was a senator and secretary of state, but she’s also a woman, a mother, and a wife.”
Jennifer Lopez
Not only has Jennifer Lopez been a huge supporter of Hillary Clinton, but Clinton is a big fan of Lopez, too! After J.Lo dropped her “Ain’t Your Mama” video on Twitter, Clinton replied, saying “Thanks for this. Women are so much more than the roles they’ve been assigned. —H” How cute! We love when awesome women support each other.
Ellen DeGeneres
Hillary Clinton has been a frequent flyer on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this past year and a half, and for good reason. Ellen is a huge fan! “You know what a supporter I am,” Degeneres said to Clinton on her show this year. “I think that you’re as smart as can be, I think you are qualified, I think you stand for everything that I want in a president.”
Eva Longoria
Telenovela star Eva Longoria is a Hillary Clinton supporter and isn’t afraid to be loud about it. Longoria talked all about her political decisions when she went on The View in February of this year. She also made a stirring speech in favor of Clinton’s nomination at the Democratic National Convention this year.
Reese Witherspoon
Reese Witherspoon is yet another high-profile celebrity to make a financial contribution to the Clinton campaign.
Elizabeth Banks
Pitch Perfect is with her! Last week, Elizabeth Banks led the a capella stars in a performance of Clinton’s most recent campaign anthem. The video included cameos from a variety of stars, including Connie Britton, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Ian Somerhalder, Mandy Moore, and even Jane Fonda. Banks co-produced the video and continues to contribute her talents and resources to the campaign.
Elton John
After Clinton’s strong performance on Super Tuesday, a whole host of celebrities came out to celebrate with her. Elton John—with noted Clinton supporter Katy Perry—performed some of his classics at the fundraiser concert in New York City, but he dedicated his final song “Still Standing” to Clinton personally.
Ben Affleck
Dedicated Hillary Clinton supporter Ben Affleck has been very vocal about his support for the presidential hopeful, possibly because Affleck is very close to the candidate. His name even appeared in a list of celebrities that had knowledge of Clinton’s personal email.
Christina Aguilera
Christina Aguilera lent her legendary pipes to Hillary Clinton’s campaign back in June, singing “Ain’t No Other Man” at the star-studded “She’s With Us” fundraiser concert. Aguilera was one of many performers that evening; the bill also included John Legend, Alisan Porter, Stevie Wonder, and Cher.
Cher
Along with music superstars like John Legend, Ricky Martin, and Stevie Wonder, Cher made a surprise visit at a “She’s With Us” concert. She had a lot to say about her longtime friend Hillary Clinton. “I’ve known her for a long time now and I have to say that no matter which way the political winds have blown at any moment, her moral compass has always pointed towards grace, justice for genders, and justice for sexual orientation, which is big for me. All of those things are important to me.”
Jamie Lee Curtis
Jamie Lee Curtis is among the most vocal of Hillary Clinton’s celebrity supporters and we absolutely love her for it. She delivered a rousing speech at a campaign event in California last May that is a must-watch for every Clinton fangirl.
Leonardo DiCaprio
There are big fundraising lunches and then there are Leonardo DiCaprio-sized fundraising lunches. The Clinton campaign just announced that the actor will be hosting a fundraiser with plates that cost a whopping $33,400 each. “Conversations with Hillary,” as it will be called, will take place August 23.
Morgan Freeman
This election season, Morgan Freeman has literally been the voice of the Clinton campaign. Not only did he record the voiceover for Shonda Rhimes’s short film at the DNC, but he also has recorded a number of advertisements for her as well. “She has always stood with us,” Freeman says in the ad.
Jamie Foxx
Actor Jamie Foxx has also endorsed the Hillary campaign. He even said some words during a Clinton fundraiser at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. He and his adorable daughters took the stage soon after Clinton won seven states on Super Tuesday.
Tom Hanks
Tom Hanks has been a Clinton supporter since she was First Lady! Back in 2000, Hanks attended the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center’s fundraising dinner where Clinton received the Women of Courage award. And in 2016, he still fiercely defends her campaign, saying Donald Trump will be president “when spaceships come down filled with dinosaurs in red capes.”
Kate Hudson
Like many other celebs, Kate Hudson did her part to help the Clinton campaign fill its coffers. In fact, she co-hosted a fundraising event with actor Zach Braff in November 2015. “I think the best person in both parties to run the country is Hillary,” Hudson said at a press event soon after. “I think she’s just the best candidate. [She’s] what we need right now.”
Katie Holmes
Katie Holmes has been with her since the very beginning. Back in 2015, Katie and Suri went on a mommy-daughter date to meet mommy-daughter duo Hillary and Chelsea Clinton. “Mothers and daughters,” Holmes posted on Instagram, “#wearewithhillary“
Tobey Maguire
Ex-Spider-Man Tobey Maguire and his wife Jennifer Meyer hosted a fundraising event for Hillary’s campaign at their Brentwood home in June. Long-time Hillary supporters like Leonardo DiCaprio, Elizabeth Banks, and Howard Gordon were all in attendance.
Shonda Rhimes
TV goddess Shonda Rhimes (Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal) showed her support for Clinton by producing a 12-minute video—narrated by none other than Morgan Freeman—that includes testimonials from President Obama, Bill Clinton, and more. The video played before Hillary’s appearance at the Democratic National Convention, which turned out to be quite the star-studded event. “Just hanging with some home girls on the most feminist night on the planet,” Rhimes posted to Instagram, “#demsinphilly #imwithher.”
Meryl Streep
After Bill Clinton endorsed his wife at the DNC, Meryl Streep took the stage dressed in a patriotic shirt with stars and stripes. During her speech, she told everyone why she thought Hillary Clinton should be the next President of the United States. “Nearly a hundred years after women got the vote, you people have made history,” she said. Unable to contain her excitement, she confidently told the crowd that we will be seeing Clinton in the oval office. “She will be the first, but she won’t be the last,” she said ending her speech.
America Ferrara
A few months ago, America Ferrara shut it down after penning a powerful essay for the Huffington Post explaining why she will be voting for Hillary Clinton in November. “I am a first-generation American, millennial, female voter and I’m not only voting for Hillary Clinton, but I also really like Hillary Clinton,” she said. “I don’t think we need a revolution in this country; I think we need an evolution in this country.” Ferrara believes that evolution starts with Hillary Clinton becoming the next President of the United States.
