Justin Timberlake And Britney Spears Might Be Recording A Song Together

We would love it if they hit us with some music just one more time.

The latest news in the music rumor mill is about to be a sweet melody to your ears.

Some serious sleuthing by fans (fanatics) of Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake is getting our hopes up about a possible collaboration between the two singers, and excuse us while we squeal like small children.

Last year, while promoting her album Glory, Britney said during a fan Q&A that she’d love to team up with Timberlake in the future.

Not long after, JT, who missed Britney’s comments (which is understandable, considering he and wife Jessica Biel had just welcomed their baby boy not too long before), told E! News, “I have a 17-month-old, so I don’t get the headline news. I’m accessible, give us a call!”

And while Brit silenced fans a few months later, saying that it was all talk, Breathe Heavy did some investigating and is giving us reason to believe that it’s all more than just words. JT is currently in the studio recording new songs with Grammy Award-winning producer Timbaland, and it’s very possible that one of them might end up featuring Spears.

Here’s the sitch:

Timbaland recently went on an Instagram liking spree, but not of just any pictures. Every single one was a throwback pic to the former celeb couple.

Not-so-coincidentally, that liking party occurred on the same night that JT was in the studio with Timbaland, and Pharrell Willams.

And if that weren’t strange enough, Timberlake retweeted an old tweet of his from back in 2013 that was in rebuttal to rumors that he had been bad-mouthing Brit. However, moments later he deleted the RT, but not before fans grabbed a screenshot.

What’s more? Britney’s “Piece of Me” Las Vegas residency at the Axis Theater in Planet Hollywood will wrap up on December 31. Next year marks the 20th anniversary of “…Baby One More Time,” and we can’t think of a better way to celebrate a milestone than to reunite with old friends and create some even more bangin’ music.

While it’s hard to say for sure what the two singers are up to, it’s obvious that something fishy is going on here. And if it is truly a music collab, it is about to be lit.
